Introduction to the artist

Elisa Sofia, a photographer with a wandering soul, embodies the essence of the traveler who seeks the truth hidden in the most intimate places and moments, those that escape the frenzy of everyday life. Her art is an open window onto a suspended world, where time slows down and every detail is charged with a profound meaning. The L’aura (the aura) is an extraordinary testimony of this sensitivity and transports you to a silent and mysterious Rome, at the first light of dawn. At 6 in the morning, while the world is still sleeping, the artist captures a moment of transition, the moment in which night gives way to day and the eternal city awakens in a new light. Black and white intensifies the contrast between light and shadow, between the known and the unknown, between the past and the future. At the end of Via Condotti, the Trinità dei Monti emerges hazy, ethereal and surrounded by an almost mystical light, becoming a point of reference, a destination to be reached, while the deserted street and the elongated shadows suggest a path yet to be undertaken. Photography becomes a journey into the soul, an exploration of the emotions and thoughts that hide behind every image.
